Racine is a charming city on the shore of Lake Michigan.  Eastern Racine county includes Racine, Mt Pleasant, Caledonia, Wind Point, North Bay, Elmwood Park, Sturtevant and Franksville.

Our vibrant downtown includes the Racine Art Museum, the Racine History Museum, charming shops and art galleries, fantastic restaurants and the Racine Civic Center which includes Memorial Hall and Festival Hall.  The Sam Johnson Memorial Parkway leads to Splash Square--an inviting fountain which is dedicated to the late Columbia astronaut Laurel Salton Clark.

Our zoo is located just north of downtown and hosts the Animal Crackers Jazz Series--four summer concerts held under the stars overlooking Lake Michigan.  Our beaches are rated some of the best in the country and also includes a 20,000 square foot playground--built entirely by volunteers!
